I am Nayantara Mukherjee - a story-teller and adventurer from Kolkata, West Bengal who delights in sharing her experiences through narratives and visuals with a wide audience. So where did the name 'The Girl Behind the Lens' come from? I grew up watching my grandfather photograph wildlife which is why I have a keen interest in wildlife photography. H gifted me a camera when I was in class three. Since then I have seen the world very differently, as if I am seeing it through a lens. This lens is not only the camera lens but the way I see the world through my eyes. My unique way of seeing the world and embracing the challenges coming my way inspired me to call myself 'The Girl Behind the Lens'.
